about

"Destroy me" was one of my very early songs. It's about the same person "Definite" and "Your ways" are about. I must have written it sometime in 2001. The song always was a bit of a "fan favorite", so we decided to re-record it with Utopia Now in 2007. Although the song became much more interesting – certainly from a technical standpoint – I feel it somehow lost much of its emotional energy. But that might not be surprising, since all the emotional investment that was real and current in 2001 had long vanished.
